Brave New World
For our Brave New World project in Humanities we were told to make a Photoshop poster that contrasts our essay. I wrote my essay on the topic of religion and how it relates to Brave New World. The Cross breaking free represents my beliefs breaking free and exposing them to the world. The cage with the words, "People Believe in God because they are conditioned to believe in God," represents who I used to be. Being Christian only because my parents are Christians.
I feel really good about what I did already but if I were to do this again I would of liked making a painting. Painting has really captivated me because it seems more real than just a Photoshop image. A different idea I could inappropriate into making a painting is very challenging to think of. Flash Animation Project
The Things I learned in Adobe Flash....
Shape Tween: being able to change an object into some thing else. Motion Tween: making objects move on the screen. I used this to zoom in on the moon picture within our movie. Stop Motion Animation: Our movie is mostly composed of stop motion animation which is a series of pictures with objects slightly moving throughout the consecutive frames. Stop motion is very time consuming and requires a lot of patience. That was one of the most challenging thing about this project. Professional stop motion movies usually take up to three years to make, as for my group we only had about three weeks. |

X-tra Normal AnimationFor a mini project we had to play with a website called www.xtranormal.com and make an animation. Although I found it a little frustrating it was very fun and interesting.

Teacher/Animal Project
For this project we had to paste one our teachers faces onto an animal or another person. I chose to use Mr. Heerschap my Physics teacher. I made him into a giraffe. On his face I used the stamp tool to make him have fir. And I copied and pasted a giraffe nose to replace Mr. Heerschap’s nose. Then I put him on a background of a beautiful dessert. With this I changed the lighting of Mr. Heerschap. From then on I added a title and put my name in a creative place.
This project was a very good experience for me and taught me a lot in Photoshop. It also was super amusing to morph your teacher’s face into something ridiculous. I think I was successful in this project because it made me more in tune with computers and developed key skills in Photoshop. If I would give some advice for this project I would say that the best projects were ones that copied some ones face on another person not an animal. If I had to do this project again I wound work on my skills in morphing the teachers face to better fit the thing I’m using to change the teacher.
