Objective:

• Work on 5 people in a Circle POW

5 People in a Circle POW

Problem: Five people stand in a circle and each flip a coin once.

Question: What is the probability of getting two neighbors with the same coin?

Steps:

1. Find the total comes for the number of ways 5 coins can be arranged in a circle with heads and tails. 
   
2. Find the number of desired outcomes; desired combinations are pairs of coins that are next to each other.

Extension Question (Required): What is the probability of getting two neighbors with the same coin with 8 people in a circle?
