Chi-Squared Unit

Unit Essential Question: How do we statistically tell the difference between two populations given one metric?

Enduring Understandings: 
  • The greater the sample size the more accurate the statistics of that population are.
  • Statistics use probability as a way to justify conclusions on a population.
  • The higher the probability or p-value, the more statistically significant the statistics are.

Objectives:

  • Identify a valid sampling method
  • Determine the population for which conclusion of a sample are valid
  • Use random samples to make estimates
