Intro to the Chi-Squared Unit
Unit Essential Question:
How do we statistically tell the difference between two populations given one metric?
Enduring Understandings:
- The greater the sample size the more accurate the statistics of that population are.
- Statistics use probability as a way to justify conclusions on a population.
- The higher the probability or p-value, the more statistically significant the statistics are.
Objectives:
- Identify a valid sampling method
- Determine the population for which conclusion of a sample are valid
- Use random samples to make estimates
