Starter:
Data Snooping:
- May indicate associations or relationships that are actually nothing more than quirks of a particular sample
- Observed results may happen to be sampling fluctuations; it may be true for the sample but not the larger population.
- Only by hypothesis testing in a new sample one can have credible claims what may hold true in general.
